When you begin an interior design project with us, your investment is protected through a secure escrow system. This ensures that your funds are never released until you’ve approved each stage of the work.

What is an Escrow System

An escrow system is a trusted third-party service that holds your payment safely until the agreed upon work is completed.

  • Your funds are never sent directly to us upfront.
  • They remain in a protected account until you approve the work.
  • This system provides payment protection for both parties.

This creates a transparent, secure environment where you stay in control at every step.

How Milestones Work

Your project is divided into Milestones: clearly defined phases of work with their own deliverables and costs.

Milestones are designed to make the process predictable and secure.

You fund each Milestone before work begins, and payment is released only after you approve the results. Once a Milestone is approved, you simply fund the next one.

Interior Design

  • Milestone 1: Lifestyle Questionnaire (5%)
  • Milestone 2: Space Planning and 2D Layout (70%)
  • Milestone 3: Personalized Design Concept (10%)
  • Milestone 4: 3D Renderings & Up to 3 Revisions (15%)

Furniture & Décor Selection

  • Milestone 1: Selection of the Largest Furniture Pieces (30%)
  • Milestone 2: Selection of the Smaller Furniture Pieces (30%)
  • Milestone 3: Selection of Décor (20%)
  • Milestone 4: Selection of Lighting (20%)

How the Contract is Created

When you are ready to begin, we will send you a private link to your project contract through a secure platform that uses this escrow system.

  • If you already have an account, you can start immediately.
  • If not, you will simply create a free account to access the protected workspace.

This setup ensures:

  • Secure payments
  • Clear communication
  • Documented deliverables
  • Protection for both parties

How Disputes are Handled

The escrow system includes a neutral dispute resolution process to ensure fairness for both sides.

If a disagreement arises about a Milestone:

  • Objective review: the platform checks whether the delivered work matches the agreed-upon Milestone description.
  • Evidence-based decision: both parties can submit messages, files, and explanations.
  • Neutral third-party mediator: a professional reviewer evaluates the case and makes a fair decision based on the contract terms.
  • Protection for both sides:
    • Clients are protected from incomplete or low-quality work.
    • We are protected from unfair refund requests or subjective dissatisfactions.

This means refunds are not granted simply because someone “doesn’t like” the design, the decision is based on whether the agreed-upon work was delivered.
