By visiting our Site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (the “Terms”). You agree that by accessing the Service, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Legal Terms.

General

The Service is a platform enabling homeowners or renters seeking interior design services (“Clients” or “Users”) to get a personalized design solution. Clients can choose from single-room or multiple-room packages, with an optional furniture selection add-on. Our deliverables include:

  • Remote consultations
  • Personalized room design (2D layout and 3D rendering)
  • Up to three revisions per design
  • A shopping list (available as a paid add-on)

For open-plan spaces (such as those combining kitchen, dining, and living areas) the kitchen is considered as a separate room for pricing purposes. Kitchens are always counted individually due to the complexity and time required for their design.

Eligibility

You must be over the age of 18 to use the Site and to access our Service. No part of the Service is directed to persons under the age of 18. If you are under 18 years of age, please do not use or access the Service at any time or in any manner.

Client

To become a Sereina designs client, you must register and provide your address, phone number, email address, name, and password. Clients also share details about their room and project, including photos of the space, a floor plan (if available), dimensions, and a video walkthrough. They have the opportunity to connect with their dedicated designer via phone call or online chat to further discuss their project and help identify their preferred design styles. The designer will then offer suggestions for the space and a personalized design solution.

As an optional paid add-on—available only in regions with access to online retailers—a shoppable list of products can be provided based on the selected service package.

Client Responsibilities

To ensure the accuracy and quality of the design services, Clients are responsible for providing complete and correct information about their space. This includes accurate measurements, an up-to-date floor plan (if available), and visual documentation such as photos and/or a video walkthrough. As services are delivered remotely, the quality of the final design depends on the clarity and precision of the information provided.

We are not responsible for discrepancies or errors caused by incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information provided by the Client.

Your Content

You may be able to share content, such as pictures of your space and floor plans. We claim no ownership or control over Your Content. You retain all copyright, patent, and trademark rights to any of Your Content that you share. One month after the project is completed, we automatically delete Your Content from our systems.

Fees and Payments

  • Fees are displayed on our site and must be paid upfront in U.S. Dollars.
  • Payments are securely processed through third-party platforms.
  • Refunds are only issued if cancellation occurs before any design work has begun.

Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel your order before we begin work by contacting us via email or contact form. We will confirm cancellation via email. Once design work begins or deliverables are shared, refunds are no longer possible.

Limitation of liability

Our services are provided remotely and are intended for informational and inspirational purposes only. Designs are based solely on the information shared with us. While we strive to deliver high-quality, personalized design solutions, all final decisions regarding implementation rest solely with the client.

We are not responsible for the execution, interpretation, or outcome of any third-party work or purchases made based on our recommendations. Clients are strongly encouraged to consult qualified professionals before making any physical changes.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the Service.

Privacy

We care deeply about your privacy and the security of your personal data. By using our Service, you agree to the practices outlined in our Privacy Policy. Our Site is hosted in Germany. If you’re accessing it from outside the EU, you consent to your data being transferred and processed there.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Swiss law.

If you are a resident of the EU, you retain protection under the consumer laws of your country. Any disputes may be brought in the courts of Lausanne, Switzerland or in your country of residence.

You can review the most current version of the Terms at any time at this page.  We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates and changes to our Site. It is your responsibility to check our Site periodically for changes.
